Polly's Pies

Polly's Pies are truly hand made using rare-breed and ethically sourced meat. The recipes are simple and delicious, and based on recipes that her Nanna passed down. 

The Range

There are currently two pies in the Polly's Pies range; The 8 Hour Beef Shin Pie, a double crust short-crust pastry pie, and the Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie – a double crust puff pastry pie.

Ingredients

All the meat used in Polly's Pies is from butcher Alan R Long who have been in Whitstable since 1977. They source their meat  from around the UK, and as locally as possible . The vegetables are sourced from Granny Smiths in Whitstable, and all UK grown with the majority from Kentish farms.  And no artificial additives or preservatives are used in the process of making the pies.

Not just a stew with a lid

Unlike many other cook-at-home pies, Polly's Pies are double crust – which means they have pastry on the top and on the bottom. And the pastry is fresh not pre-cooked for that home cooked taste.

Ooh you are saucy

Each pie is packed to the top with saucy filling, as Polly believes there's nothing more disappointing than an inch of warm air under your pie lid. At 750g, each pie is perfect for 2 hungry people served with green veg – or 3 to 4 if you serve with potatoes and vegetables.
